Menu Plan Monday: April 10-16

A little late with the menu this week!  While Naomi was sick, I spent most of my time nursing and caring for my little love.  Michael did some of the grocery shopping by himself, but he knew what we needed and did just fine.  (I’m actually the one who has trouble sticking to “the list”.)

Some things that were planned for last week didn’t get made, so they have been moved over to this week!

Soups of the Week:
Roasted Sweet Potato and Corn Chowder
African Peanut Soup

Breads of the Week:
Cornbread Muffins
Biscuits
No-Knead Honey Whole Wheat Sandwich Bread

Sunday: Creamy Potato and Bacon Chowder with Biscuits

Monday: Crockpot Roasted Chicken, Grilled Potato Wedges, Sweet Carrots and Parsnips

Tuesday: Creamy Chicken and Vegetable Soup with Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Wednesday: Meatloaf with Brown Rice, Steamed veggies

Thursday: (Alpha Wine & Cheese Night) Macaroni and Cheese with Hamburger, raw veggie sticks with dip

Friday: (Grocery Night) Stir-Fried Veggies and Quinoa

Saturday: Roast Beef “Sheppard’s” Pie

This post is part of Menu Plan Monday at I’m an Organizing Junkie.
